We are well into holiday season and things are getting very thin on the ground on Wednesday nights. Only 5 of us this week. Pikachu was a DNS after getting a puncture on the way to the start. It was a night of the comeback kids. Our own Steve Coombes putting in a very creditable time on fixed with no aerodynamic aids other than his stylish barnet. He kept me at bay despite this being only his 2nd ride this year. Another coming back was Paul Aldridge. New to us he has just started riding again and is yet another member who has the ability to make me look stupid. Still it is all good fun (yeah right, you should have been riding). Weather was not that good. Overcast, bit of rain in the air and a breeze which was hardly noticeable when you were stood still, but was just annoying all the time. I just hated this one and would rather forget it. Oh and Steve Lawrence caught us all and won by 3 minutes.
